Foot Reflexology in Bideford

Life has a way of leaving its mark—not just in your mind but in your body too. Stress, tension, and emotional experiences don’t just disappear; they show up in aches, fatigue, and feeling “off.”

That’s where reflexology comes in.

Reflexology is more than just a foot rub (although, let’s be honest, that alone is worth it!). It’s a deeply therapeutic treatment that works by stimulating reflex points on your feet —each one linked to different parts of your body. This gentle yet powerful therapy:

  • Helps release built-up stress and tension
  • Supports better sleep, digestion, and circulation
  • Brings relief from headaches, hormone imbalances, and anxiety
  • Leaves you feeling lighter, clearer, and recharged

What makes my reflexology treatments unique? I can read your feet. Yep, your feet hold a story—about your health, emotions, and even past experiences. Through intuitive foot reading, I help you uncover what’s going on beneath the surface, so we can work on rebalancing your body and energy from the ground up.

I am a highly experienced Reflexologist offering reflexology in Northam, Bideford, welcoming clients from across North Devon, including Barnstaple and surrounding areas.

Hot Stone Reflexology

The ultimate relaxation experience!

If you think regular reflexology is relaxing, wait until you try hot stone reflexology. This treatment takes everything to the next level by incorporating warm volcanic stones, which:

  • Deepen relaxation by melting away tension in the feet
  • Boost circulation and energy flow for faster healing
  • Ease muscle aches and stiffness, especially helpful for tired, overworked feet
  • Supercharge stress relief, helping your body fully switch off and reset

The warmth of the stones works in harmony with reflexology techniques, allowing for a deeper and more effective treatment. It’s perfect if you struggle with stress, sleep issues, or just want an ultra-soothing, blissful experience.

I offer hot stone reflexology in Northam Bideford, easily accessible to clients from Barnstaple and across North Devon.

Facial Reflexology

Because your face holds tension too!

Your face isn’t just where you express emotions—it’s where you store them. Ever noticed how stress makes your jaw tighten, your brow crease, or your skin look dull? Facial reflexology works to release this built-up tension while improving overall well-being.

By stimulating reflex points on the face, this treatment:

  • Boosts circulation, giving you a natural glow
  • Relieves headaches, jaw tension, and sinus issues
  • Calms the nervous system, easing anxiety and stress
  • Encourages lymphatic drainage, reducing puffiness and improving skin tone

Facial reflexology isn’t just deeply relaxing—it’s like a mini face-lift from the inside out. Many clients find it particularly helpful for stress relief, migraines, and even balancing hormones.

I offer facial reflexology in Northam Bideford, with clients travelling from Barnstaple and across North Devon to experience this deeply restorative treatment.

Frequently asked questions

How many treatments will I need?

Everyone is different and the response to Reflexology can be immediate or sometimes take longer than one appointment, but often benefits can be seen after 4-5 sessions. Regular weekly treatments are best for the body properly beginning the self-healing process, and following an initial consultation I will suggest the number of Reflexology sessions I think we should undertake.

What are your fees and availability?

Reflexology sessions for individuals last 50 minutes and cost £60 per session. I also provide a limited number of appointments for those on low-income; contact me to enquire about availability.

Note that if you want to cancel an appointment I require 48 hours’ notice; otherwise you will still need to pay for any sessions missed. I accept payment in cash, by cheque or by bank transfer.

Can you diagnose my health problems?

Reflexologists cannot claim to diagnose or cure, but during a treatment we get 'feedback' as to which parts of the body are working well and which are not. Sometimes Reflexology will highlight a specific area which is struggling or working hard to maintain your wellbeing; if a particular reflex point shows this kind of reaction I'll discuss it with you at the end of the session.

What happens in a treatment? Do I need to undress?

Reflexology is performed entirely on the feet, ankles or hands, so the most you’ll have to do is take off your socks and roll up your trousers! During the treatment the client lies on their back on a reclining chair, supported by pillows and covered with a soft blanket to keep them warm.

And don’t worry - reflexology doesn't tickle! Many clients come to me with ticklish feet or worried about their feet being touched, but find they can relax and enjoy the benefits of Reflexology.

Does reflexology hurt?

You might find some areas feel sensitive to the touch, but Reflexology does not involve hard pressing in the way something like a sports massage might. As a therapist I will be aware of the status of your feet, noticing how they feel, the temperature and colour. All these things play a part in understanding which areas of your body - as reflected through your feet - require a bit more care and attention.

Should I keep on having Reflexology?

Not necessarily, but after an initial course of treatment many people choose to check in monthly for a top-up, to help maintain their general wellbeing, or as a scheduled 'de-stress'. Other clients will get back in touch if they start feeling aches and pains, arranging treatments as and when they need them.
