Jill Rawle, Clinical Reflexologist and Reiki Master Practitioner in Bideford, North Devon

Clinical Reflexology & Reiki Therapist in Bideford, North Devon

If you feel as though you have been coping for a long time, but never fully switching off, you are not alone.

Based in Bideford, North Devon, I offer clinical reflexology and Reiki therapy for women experiencing ongoing stress, anxiety, poor sleep, tension and burnout. This is particularly common from the late 30s onwards, when perimenopause and menopause begin to change how the body copes and responds.

Many of the women I support travel from Barnstaple, Bideford and across North Devon looking for a deeper therapeutic approach that works with the body rather than simply offering temporary relaxation.

My work is consultation-led and designed to understand what your body has been holding, rather than simply providing short-term relaxation.

With over ten years of hands-on experience as a Clinical Reflexologist and Reiki Master Practitioner, I work to identify how your body has been coping and what it is now asking for, especially during perimenopause and menopause when things often begin to shift.

It Doesn't Have to Stay Like This

When your body has been coping for years, there often comes a point where it no longer can in the same way.

This is often where perimenopause begins to show up.

You may recognise yourself in some of the following:

– Anxiety that feels new or more intense

– Feeling overwhelmed by things you used to manage

– Brain fog or difficulty concentrating

– Sleep that isn’t restorative

– A sense of being constantly “on” or on edge

– Irritability or low tolerance

– Ongoing tension or fatigue that never fully settles

– A feeling that something isn’t quite right, even if you can’t explain it

At this stage, the body is no longer able to compensate in the way it once did.

What has been held quietly for years often begins to surface, physically and emotionally.

If you sense something needs to shift, this is a steady and structured place to begin.

Clinical Reflexology & Reiki in Bideford

I specialise in working with women in perimenopause and menopause who feel like their body is no longer coping in the way it used to.

This stage of life often brings change that isn’t always easy to explain, but your body is always communicating what’s happening beneath the surface.

With over ten years of experience, I use clinical reflexology, Reiki and intuitive observation to understand how your body is responding, where tension is being held, and what may be driving the symptoms you’re experiencing.

My role is to help you make sense of what’s going on in your body and guide you through this phase in a way that feels steady, supported and clear.

This is not a routine treatment.

It is a structured, responsive approach that works with your body to begin creating lasting change.

Distance Healing Sessions

If you are unable to attend in person, I also offer online distance healing sessions across the UK.

These sessions combine guided conversation and Reiki-based energy work via Zoom, allowing you to receive structured support from your own home. Many women find this a powerful and convenient way to continue working with stress, tension and emotional overload when in-person sessions are not possible.

The Power of Perimenopause

Perimenopause is often spoken about in terms of symptoms and what’s going wrong. This guide offers a different perspective.

Inside, I explore what this stage of life is asking of you, how your body is communicating through the changes you’re experiencing, and how to begin working with it rather than against it.

If you’ve been feeling different but don’t fully understand why, this is a place to start making sense of it.

Frequently asked questions

How many sessions will I need?

Rather than offering a fixed number of treatments, I work through an initial consultation and assessment to understand how your body and nervous system are responding. Many people benefit from a short series of sessions to allow changes to integrate over time, rather than one off appointments.

How long does a Reflexology Session last?

Reflexology is used within longer therapeutic sessions rather than as a short standalone treatment. Session length allows time for assessment, body based work, and integration, supporting deeper and more meaningful change.

Can you diagnose my health problems?

No. I do not diagnose medical conditions. Reflexology here is used to notice patterns, responses, and areas of holding within the body and nervous system. Any insights shared are supportive and complementary and do not replace medical care.

What happens during a session?

Each session is guided by assessment and observation rather than a set routine. Reflexology may be combined with other therapeutic approaches such as energy work, sound, or stillness, depending on what is most supportive in the moment.

Does reflexology hurt?

Reflexology should not be painful, although some areas of the feet may feel more sensitive if they reflect tension or holding elsewhere in the body. Pressure is always adjusted and the work is carried out with care and responsiveness.

Should I keep on having Reflexology?

Reflexology is most effective when used as part of a structured therapeutic process rather than occasional sessions. Ongoing work allows the nervous system time to settle, respond, and integrate changes more fully.
